Police Blotter: Cheeks Bar Gets Vandalized

Someone wrote a vulgar message on the outside of Cheeks Bar, 2441 Van Horn, at about 4 a.m. Aug. 16.

The bar’s manager told police he was inside the bar cleaning when he heard someone outside pounding on the west wall of the bar.

He said when he walked outside he could see a white female, “doing something to the wall and had a small object in her right hand.”

The manager told police the white female then got inside a light colored Chrysler sedan and drove away in the car.

Police said they saw the words “Cheeks sucks” followed by a vulgar statement written in red paint on the west wall.
