Police Blotter: Forgotten Laptop Becomes Stolen Laptop

An 88-year-old man told police his laptop was stolen at about 6 p.m. Aug. 22 in the 4500 block of Leisure Lane.
The man said he was visiting his daughter and as he packed his car to leave he pulled his laptop bag out of the trunk and placed it on the side of the car.
He said he put some things into the trunk and then forgot to put the laptop bag back into the trunk.

The man then drove to Grosse Ile. He realized that his laptop bag was not in the trunk, so he went back to Leisure Lane where he was parked and said an unknown subject(s) took the laptop.
The bag contained a laptop with charger, digital camera, 45 pictures and miscellaneous papers.
