Good morning Trenton. Here's a rundown of what you need to know today.

  1. Today's weather should make for perfect conditions for a Coast Guard training exercise. The National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high near 82 degrees.
  2. In recognition of Trenton's rich hockey traditions, we bring you the Hockey Term of the Day: face-off circles and spots, the various circular spots on the ice where an official and two players will hold a face-off to begin or to resume the action of the game; there is one blue face-off circle and four red face-off spots located in the neutral zone; two red face-off circles are found at each end of the ice.
