Stuff You Need to Know: Aug. 29

Here are a few things to help you get your day started right.

Good morning Trenton. Here's a rundown of what you need to know today.

  1. Get ready for some good weather. The National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high near 79 degrees.
  2. In recognition of Trenton's rich hockey traditions, we bring you the Hockey Term of the Day: flat pass, when a player passes the puck to a teammate along the surface of the ice. Terms brought to you by www.firstbasesports.com.
  3. There is no meeting scheduled tonight.
  4. Does your dog like to swim? Why not take the pup to the Dog Days of Summer Swim event at the ? The pool will go the the dogs from noon to 3 p.m. Sept. 10. There will be games for people and pets. Owners can register their pets at the Trenton Parks and Recreation Office. Dogs must be licensed and owners must show proof of Rabies vaccination and be prepared for clean-up duty.
