Good morning Trenton. Here's a rundown of what you need to know today.
- You may want to grab your umbrella before you leave the house today. The National Weather Service is calling for a 30 percent chance of showers before 3 p.m. Otherwise the day will be party sunny with a high near 82 degrees.
- In recognition of Trenton's rich hockey traditions, we bring you the Hockey Term of the Day: elbowing, a minor penalty which occurs when a player strikes his opponent with an elbow to impede his progress. Terms brought to you by www.firstbasesports.com.
- There is a meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the board of education building. On the agenda is a transportation recommendation for the 2011-12 school year by interim Superintendent Larry Leapley.

- Today is the first day of practice for the football team and Patch will be there. Players and coach have high hopes for this season. Look for a video on the practice later today.
