Trenton Man Comes to the Rescue of Those in Need
James Spears is just one example of the generous people in the Trenton and Grosse Ile area.
James Spears is Trenton’s Superman—and the 2012 Patch Community Service Person of the Year.
Spears received the award in January for his generous spirit, and he received a Superman T-shirt from his daughter, who nominated him for the honor.
"I still stop and fix flat tires," Spears told Trenton-Grosse Ile Patch earlier this year. "If I see someone struggling or look like they're in need of a ride or a coat or something to eat, I'll stop to offer that."
