Trenton Marketing Students Get Trip to NYC

Trenton High School marketing students have the opportunity to take a field trip to New York, NY thanks to two seniors.

Thanks to two enterprising young students, 28 marketing students and a handful of chaperones have the opportunity to take a field trip to New York City.

Seniors Kelly Quinn and Megan Solano presented a request for a trip to New York, NY to members Monday night at a regularly scheduled board of education meeting.

The students showed board members a PowerPoint presentation detailing costs, transportation, hotel arrangements, tourist activities, meals, security and tour guides, and board members approved the request.

During the presentation the students also explained the dates for the trip, April 26-29,Β and several tourist attractions including the New York Stock Exchange, the American Museum of Finance and the Broadway show "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying."

The trip is for juniors and seniors who have taken two years of marketing classes at Trenton High School.

The cost is about $560 per person and is to be paid for by those taking the trip.
