$10 Roll Of Quarters Stolen During Struggle

TROY, MI — A fluff and fold session ended with a call to the police.

At 12:28 a.m. on Oct. 31, a man left his apartment unlocked while he went to his building's laundry room in the 900 block of John R Road. Upon returning, the man discovered a woman rummaging through his things in his bedroom, according to Troy police.

The man tried pinning the woman against his bed and calling 9-1-1 but believes he temporarily lost consciousness, potentially from being struck in the back of his head.

Upon regaining consciousness, the man realized his $10 roll of quarters was missing. No other items were reported stolen.

The suspect is described as a black female, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 8 inches and was wearing dark clothing.
