Winning Futures, based in Troy, helps metro Detroit students figure out what they’ll do after high school, teaches them important life and job skills and provides them with a Career Mentor. Students stay in the program after they graduate from high school and enter a continuing education program where the goal is to stay in school, earn a degree or certificate, and land their first professional job. Career Mentors are volunteers from the business community who attend sessions with students and coach them through the program.
