Teens Invited to Enter Short Story Contest at Troy Public Library

Attention teen writers, the will be hosting a Short Story Contest for teens ages 13-18.  Send us your best short stories and you may win some great prizes.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Stories should be no longer than 10 pages double-spaced in 12-point font.
  • Each writer may submit up to three stories.
  • The writer’s name, age, phone number, and e-mail (if applicable) must appear somewhere in the submission.
  • Submissions will be accepted via e-mail to O.Olson@troymi.gov, or you can drop them off at the Adult Information desk in the Library.
  • Entries will be accepted until Sunday, June 17.

Prizes will be awarded to the first-, second- and third-place winners. All winning submissions will be published on the Troy Public Library website, troylibrary.info.
