Troy Youth All Star Chess Club to Host Chess Tournament at Library

The Troy Youth All Star Chess Club (TYASCC) will be holding its first chess tournament from 1-4 p.m. May 20 at the . The event will be a first for the Troy resident organized club.

Two board members of the nonprofit Michigan Chess Association (michess.org) will make an appearance to coach, teach and help parents learn how to run a successful tournament. 

Rated chess tournaments will start being held right here in our community – a win/win for the club, as many top-rated players live in the Troy area.
