Athens Powerlifters Earn 5th Place at State Finals
Emily Decraene and Corey Thai also earned individual state championship titles Saturday.
The Athens High School Powerlifting team recently nabbed fifth place overall at the State Powerlifting Championship.
"We are very proud of all our young men and woman that represented the Red Hawks this Power Lifting season," Athens coach Josh Heppner wrote in an email. "Coach Divito once again proved that we have some serious talent and strength to be reckoned with."
