Detergent Thief On The Loose

TROY, MI — Citizens of Troy, when was the last time you saw your bottle of detergent? You may want to conduct a detergent wellness check because a detergent thief is on the loose, according to a police report.
Troy police say that a woman opened her storage locker in the basement of her apartment building in the 2000 block of Somerset Blvd., only to discover an unknown suspect(s) had been there and made off with laundry detergent and toilet paper that she had just bought.
The theft happened sometime between Jan. 20 to Jan. 27 and the thief is remains at large.
