TROY, MI — Northbound Rochester Road just north of Big Beaver Road in Troy is closed Thursday morning due to flooding in the area, Troy officials said. Only one southbound lane is open as of Thursday morning.

Several cars were stranded on the road in water that was several inches deep. Troy officials and Detroit Public Works were working on removing the standing water from the roads, while crews were pulling some stalled cars out of the water, officials said.
