Halloween at the Troy Historic Village Celebrates the Wizard of Oz

Follow the yellow brick road in your ruby slippers to the Troy Historic Village on Saturday, October 26 from 1-3 pm, for a fabulous Wizard of Oz themed Trick or Treat event sponsored by: Genisys Credit Union and Meijer. This annual Halloween event will celebrate L. Frank Baum’s 14 magical Oz novels.

Visit “Scarecrow Row,” a row of family friendly scarecrows along the Village fence; trick-or-treat from building to building collecting candy & mini pumpkins provided by the Troy Garden Club; make a cool craft at Poppleton School; and enjoy cider and donuts as you visit with all of the Wizard of Oz characters.

Even though there’s no place like home, there’s something at the Troy Historic Village for the whole family to enjoy!
