Home Invasions, Drunken Driving Reported to Troy Police
The following information about police incidents is taken directly from the most recent Troy Police Department media releases.

Credit, check, identity theft, other fraud
1288 Beattie Dr., Sept. 30, 4 p.m.: Complainant advised she was contacted by her Credit Union advising her of unusual charges. Resident stated her debit card was used six times in Las Vegas at three casinos for ATM withdrawals in the amount of $4,286.68.
Speedway, 2980 John R Rd., Oct. 5, 2:17 p.m.: Complainant advised her credit card was stolen out of her purse while at a party in Detroit. Complainant advised fraudulent charges were made at the Speedway in Troy.
Drugs/narcotics
335 Lowry, Oct. 5, 1:45 a.m.: Troy officers responded to a family trouble between brothers. The suspect was found to have warrants for his arrest. In the suspect’s room narcotic paraphernalia was found which is utilized to “cook” heroin. Also discovered were two bottles containing heroin. The suspect, a 29-year-old from Troy was arrested for possession of heroin.

Driving under influence of alcohol/drugs
Stephenson Highway and East Maple Road, Oct. 6, 1:03 a.m.: Troy officers stopped a vehicle traveling southbound in the northbound lanes. The driver advised officers he had just smoked marijuana and provided officers with his medical marijuana card. The driver failed field sobrieties. The driver, a 29-year-old from Farmington Hills was arrested for operating while intoxicated. Breath test results were .15 percent.
Stephenson Highway and East Maple Road, Oct. 6, 4:49 a.m.: Troy officers stopped a vehicle for a red light violation. The driver had a strong odor of intoxicants coming from his person. The driver admitted to drinking and failed field sobrieties. The driver, a 27-year-old from Rochester Hills has a prior conviction for drunk driving and was arrested for operating while intoxicated (second offense).

Home invasions
4263 Brightwood, Oct. 4, 11:05 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.: Resident advised his pedestrian garage door was open. Officers and resident checked the home with items dumped out of dresser drawers, however it appeared as if nothing had been stolen.
2848 Winter, Oct. 4, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Troy officers responded to a home invasion. Resident advised the front door to the home had been forced open. Resident and officers searched the house and observed the bedroom had been rummaged through. Resident advised it appeared nothing was missing from the home.
4373 Bennet Park Circle, Oct. 5, 11:30 a.m.: Complainant advised appliances were stolen from his home under construction. Complainant advised a GE washer and dryer, GE stove and wood flooring were stolen. Total value of stolen items is $6,000.
Larcenies
Oakland Mall, 412 W. Fourteen Mile Rd., Oct. 5, 9:56 p.m.: Complainant advised she had just made a purchase in a store at the mall. Complainant stated she sat down on a bench and then left. The complainant stated she realized she didn’t have her purse and returned to the bench however her purse was gone. Complainant stated in the purse was her credit cards and $70 cash.
