Man Arrested Months After Troy Stabbing: Police

A man has been arrested in connection with a non-fatal stabbing that happened months ago in Troy, police said Tuesday.

TROY, MI — A man has been arrested in connection with a non-fatal stabbing that happened months ago in Troy, police said Tuesday.

Dquavion Lamariee Broome, 27, was charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. He was placed in jail and given a $500,000 bond.

Police said Broome stabbed another man on Aug. 30 in the parking lot of the Sedona Taphouse, located at 198 E. Big Beaver Road in Troy.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, according to police.

Investigators said Broome fled Michigan after the stabbing, but recently returned and was arrested on Oct. 9.

Troy Police worked with the FBI Violent Crime Task Force during the investigation.
