Man Charged with Brandishing Gun in Road Rage Incident
The man admitted to pulling out his handgun during a confrontation with a speeding driver, police say.

Highland Park resident Jason George Yousif, 25, was arrested and charged Monday with felonious assault with a gun after he allegedly brandished his handgun at another driver Sunday evening near Square Lake and Livernois roads.
According to , the victim said he was at a red light when a man pulled up next to him in a Mercedes Benz. The driver of the Mercedes motioned for the victim to roll down his window, then pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the victim and threatened to shoot him if he drove "like that again," according to police. The victim said the man then drove away.
Troy Police officers were able to locate Yousif, who reportedly told police the victim had been speeding through his subdivision, so he followed and confronted the victim about his driving. Yousif then admitted to brandishing his handgun at the victim, according to Troy Police.

Yousif appeared Monday at 52-4 District Court in Troy before Magistrate Clement Waldmann, and his bond was set at $5,000 or 10 percent cash surety.
