Massive Water Break In Troy. Boil Water Advisory In Effect Until At Least Tuesday, Nov. 15

Troy Police Department urges residents not to drink water.

Updated. TROY, MI — An 84-inch water main break in Troy this morning has shut down major roads and left many residents experiencing an extreme loss of water pressure. A boil water alert has also been issued for the west side of the city until at least Tuesday, Nov. 15, and the Troy Police Department has a serious message for residents in that area: Do not consume the water.

The cause of the water main break is still being investigated, and it's not know how long it will take to fix.
