Popular Detroit Food Truck Plans To Open Oakland County Location
A popular southwest Detroit food truck is planning to open its second location in Oakland County this summer.
TROY, MI — A popular Detroit food truck is coming to Oakland County, according to a social media post.
Detroit 75 Kitchen, known for serving hungry customers in southwest Detroit, is planning to open a second location in the former Sears Auto Center on 14 Mile Road, near the Oakland Mall in Troy, Co-owner and chef Mike Nassar said in an Instagram post.
"It's going to be a full-service Detroit 75 Kitchen, exactly what you'd expect when you come to southwest Detroit," the chef said in the video. "We are looking for underrepresented areas and underserved communities. We are not looking for a shiny diamond."

The Nassar brothers opened the sandwich-centric food truck in 2014 with popular sandwiches like 3rd Street Cheesesteak. The food truck also sells fish on Friday's, including wild-caught catfish and Lake Erie walleye. The food truck has been cited as one of the best food trucks in Detroit and the nation.
