Red Oaks Waterpark to Open Saturday
The park will be open through Memorial Day; it will open for the season again on June 1.

The following information was submitted by Oakland County Parks & Recreation.
Gather the family and head to Red Oaks Waterpark in Madison Heights for opening day this Saturday, May 26. The waterpark will be open from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Memorial Day; the normal weekend and holiday rates of $18 per person ($13 per resident) apply. Red Oaks Waterpark will be closed May 29 – May 31.
Beginning June 1, Red Oaks Waterpark opens with normal summer hours: 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on weekends and holidays. Regular season tickets are $15 for non-residents and $10 for residents.

Cool off in the water
Kids can enjoy the Soak Station, a children's interactive water playground with 68 features including water jets, curtains and slides, bubbler jets and a 300-gallon tipping bucket. Toddlers can explore the Spray & Play area's 15 water jets and bubblers at zero water depth.
For adults, there's the 990-foot-long River Ride, a triple-flume water slide, and a wave-action pool. The pool is heated, so even when it's cloudy or windy, the water is just fine.
