Semi-truck Crash Kills Groom-To-Be On The I-75
The victim was reportedly supposed to get married this weekend.

TROY, MI — Patrick Seamus Arthurs was reportedly supposed to get married this weekend. He will never walk down the aisle as he was killed by a semi-truck on I-75 North last night.
The accident happened at roughly 6:50 p.m. on Nov. 3, according to a news release from the Troy Police Department. Authorities say 43-year-old Arthurs, of Allen Park, was driving northbound on I-75 when his 2004 Cadillac started having issues.
Police say Arthurs pulled over on the right hand shoulder by the Crooks Road overpass in Troy and was standing outside of the Cadillac with the hood up when a semi-truck plowed into him.

Arthurs was rushed to Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital where he died from his injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured.
The lights on Arthurs' Cadillac were reportedly not on nor were the emergency flashers activated. The crash is under investigation and if you have any information, please call the Troy Police Department at 248-524-3477.
