By June 2014, we hope that Troy is ready for its close-up.
That's when 'Transformers 4,' the latest sequel in the popular series of science fiction films directed by Michael Bay, is scheduled to come out. According to a report in the Detroit Free Press, Troy was one of the locations used in filming, currently ongoing in downtown Detroit.
Producers had recently sought extras at an event held in The Somerset Collection.
Bay previously came to Detroit for 2005’s 'The Island,' the 2007 'Transformers' and 2011’s 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon.'
"We're big fans of Michigan and Detroit. There are a lot of good things we look forward to here, including the cooperation," said 'Transformers 4' producer Ian Bryce in the Free Press report.
