Troy Community Chorus Announces "Waterscapes" Spring Concert

An evening of song

The Troy Community Chorus, under the direction of Jonathan Lowrie and accompanied by Min Sook Chung, will present its Spring Concert “Waterscapes” on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. at Athens High School, located at 4333 John R Road in Troy. The concert music has a water theme, featuring a mix of traditional, spirituals and classical chorale selections. Additionally, 2024 recipient of the TCC Vocal Scholarship, Jerrel Willis, a senior at Troy Athens High School, will be performing.

Advance tickets are $12 for patrons ages 13 – 62, $10 for seniors and children ages 6 – 12, and children under age five are admitted free of charge. Tickets are also available at the door for $15 each.

To order tickets, contact Gina Sweet at 248-762-6862 or ginasweet@gmail.com. Will-call tickets will be available for pick up at 7:30 p.m. the night of the concert.

The Troy Community Chorus, founded in 1978, is a non-audition choir consisting of 70+ members aged 24 – 85+ years old from across the metropolitan Detroit area.
