Troy Community Chorus to Perform “Sounds of the Season: A Global Celebration” Concert
Under the direction of new full-time director Sheryl Hauk, the Troy Community Chorus presents holiday songs from around the world
The Troy Community Chorus (TCC), under the direction of its new full-time director Sheryl Hauk and accompanied by Min Sook Chung, will present its Holiday Concert “Sounds of the Season: A Global Celebration” on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. at Athens High School, located at 4333 John R Road in Troy. The concert features holiday choral selections from countries such as France, Ukraine, England, Africa and more, as well as a gift raffle featuring about 20 items.
After filling in for five weeks last season as interim director, Hauk was appointed as TCC’s full-time director. She brings with her 40 years of teaching experience; the last 18 spent as the Choral and Music Theater Director for West Bloomfield High School as well as the Curriculum Fine Arts Coordinator for the West Bloomfield School District.
Advance concert tickets are $12 for patrons ages 13 – 62, $10 for seniors and children ages 6 – 12, and children under age five are admitted free of charge. Tickets are also available at the door for $15 each.

The Troy Community Chorus, founded in 1978, is a non-audition choir consisting of 100+ members aged 24 – 85+ years old from across the metropolitan Detroit area.
