Lt. Todd Dudzinski Named 2012 Troy Firefighter of the Year

Troy Fire Chief Bill Nelson is pleased to announce that Lieutenant Todd Dudzinski, assigned to Fire Station 6, has been selected as Firefighter of the Year for 2012.
In his 10 years of service with the fire department, Lieutenant Dudzinski has served as a Firefighter, and Lieutenant at Fire Station 6. Lt. Dudzinski was a member of Troy Fire Explorer Post 911 and served as Assistant Chief of the explorer post before joining the Fire Department in 2002.

“He consistently has performed his assigned duties in an exemplary manner and has volunteered for many additional responsibilities including, serving as chairman of the Troy Fire Department - Troy People Concerned Children’s Christmas Party, and conducting numerous public education programs and similar programs for the community,” Chief Nelson said.
Todd also volunteered to represent the Troy Fire Department in the statewide Vehicle Extrication Competition at the Michigan Fireman’s Memorial event in Roscommon where his team from Station 6 finished in third place.

Todd, who holds a Masters degree in architecture from Lawrence Technological University, is employed at Integrated Design Solutions, an architectural and engineering firm located in Troy.
