Troy High Charity Week 2025: Love for the Lichykaki Family
THS 2025 Activist Week Supports Local Family

Each year, the students at Troy High School spend a week raising funds and supporting a cause for Activist Week. This year, students have chosen to rally around the Lichykaki Family. Two years ago, the family made the courageous decision to leave behind family, friends, and possessions in Ukraine to build a safer, more secure future for their sons, Dima and Denys. Dima quickly became a valued member of the Troy High community, graduating in 2024. In early January, tragedy struck when the family suffered the unexpected loss of their father, Oleksii.
From February 2 to February 10, students at Troy High will be raising funds to support the Lichykaki Family. Students have planned a “Restaurant Week,” where participating businesses will donate a portion of their proceeds to Activist Week and the Lichykaki Family. In addition, students will take part in a variety of activities, including a talent show, coin collection, powderpuff game, Snowcoming dance, and more.
While most events are intended for students, the public is invited to participate in the planned restaurant nights. To see all events, visit https://www.troycolts.org/ or the THS Student Government Instagram page (@troyhighstugo).
