PHOTOS: Troy Police Department Promotes Officers
"I am confident this group of supervisors will play a key role in continuing the Troy Police Department legacy of excellence," Troy Police Chief Gary Mayer said.
Several members of the were recently promoted to the ranks of sergeant or lieutenant in a promotion ceremony at the department.
"These command officers represent the next generation of leadership here at Troy PD," Troy Police Chief Gary Mayer said. "Even with these promotions, we find ourselves with 13 less command officers and 26 less police officers than we had just a few years ago.
"Despite overall staffing reductions, we will continue to provide the best service we can with the resources we are given. I am confident this group of supervisors will play a key role in continuing the Troy Police Department legacy of excellence."

- Scot Lamilza
- Scott Smith
- Josh Jones
- Andy Breidenich (not pictured)
