Troy Restaurant Week To Feature Offerings From 20 Local Eateries

Fine dining and family-friendly places will offer special three-course menus during the six-day event.

Troy Restaurant Week takes place Sunday, March 11 - Friday, March 16. Twenty restaurants in Troy will participate, from family spots to fine dining. They’ll each offer a a three-course menu to showcase their unique flavors. The restaurant week offerings cost between $15 and $45. Some restaurants will off both lunch and dinner menus for restaurant week, though some only offer dinner options, according to the event sponsor, the Troy Chamber of Commerce.

Michael Crank, the sales manager at Fogo de Chao, says the Brazilian steakhouse will use the opportunity to introduce Metro Detroit to its take on Brazilian favorites. “Fogo de Chao is looking forward to an opportunity to invite Metro Detroit to experience our Southern Brazilian hospitality," Crank said. “We are hoping to bring each one of our guests on a culinary journey to Southern Brazil — no passports required.”

While you won’t need a passport, a photo might get you a $50 gift card to one of the participating restaurants. The Troy Chamber of Commerce will offer the “Oh, Snap” photo contest again this year. Restaurant week diners can post pictures of their meals on social media - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram - with the hashtag #OhSnapTRW18. Every day, a randomly selected winner will receive a $50 gift card.
