TROY, MI — All proceeds from the fifth annual Patriot's Race in Troy will work toward benefiting the Michigan Wounded and Returning Warriors Program, which is a non-profit member organization supporting veterans.
The race will take place at the White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, which is long known for its on-site events to honor U.S. veterans, on Sunday, Sept. 11, coincidentally the 21st anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks. In addition, there will be a moment of silence at 9:03 a.m. in memory of the 9/11 Tower 2 attack.
The Patriots Race will begin at 9 a.m. with a 10k and 5k timed race followed by a 1 mile run/walk. Discounts are available for veterans and groups.
