Warm Weather, Thunderstorms Return This Week
Here's a look ahead at this week's weather.

After a late-spring cold snap that triggered multiple freeze warning across the region, southeast Michigan is set to experience a dramatic warm-up this week, according to the National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac.
And along with the significantly warmer weather will come thunderstorms, adds the weather service.

Today: Mostly cloudy with a high near 58, low around 48 degrees. Showers are likely before 1 p.m. Chance of participation is 60 percent with new rainfall amounts between 0.25 and 0.5 inches. Rain will dissipate overnight.
Tuesday: Partly sunny with a high near 70 degrees, a low around 56 and northwest wind around 5 m.p.h., becoming calm. Chance of thunderstorms before 8 p.m., then a 50 chance of showers and thunderstorms overnight.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with a high near 79, a low around 64 and a 50 percent chance of precipitation all day and into the night.
Thursday: Partly sunny with a high near 81 and a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy overnight with a low around 61 degrees.
Friday: Mostly cloudy all day and into the night with a high near 75 and a low around 54. A chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day.
