Women in Business from Troy Named to Crain's Top 40 Under 40

Two women in business working in Troy—Laura Lawson and Dounia Senawi Lievan—have been named to the prestigious "40 Under 40" list, as annually published by Crain's Detroit Business.

Lawson, 36, is the vice president of marketing at United Shore Financial Services. Senawi Lievan, 33, is the senior vice president of personal financial services at Flagstar Bancorp Inc.

According to Crain's, the award has been given since 1991 and includes a thorough vetting process with industry sources and references. The 2013 class included more than 300 nominees.
