Daedalus 2 Mission: A Space Opera

Album Release at The Loving Touch

The Album release party for The Daedalus 2 Mission: A Space Opera (D2M) is scheduled for Friday, December 7 at The Loving Touch in Ferndale. The 18- song sci-fi-inspired concept album, written by Jim Territo (lyrics and music) and Joe Territo (lyrics), tells the story of a team of space probes who meet their ends in the distant future. Along the way, they consider what it really means to live. The songs span genres including rock, reggae, opera, electronica, and hip hop, with thought-provoking lyrics, charged vocals, and brilliant instrumentals.

Daedalus 2 Mission has dazzled audiences as a theatrical-rock presentation at The Crofoot in 2017 and Planet Ant in 2018. Accomplished Detroit-area talent will perform the songs in concert: Willa Adamo, guitar/vocals; Jack Bennett, guitar/vocals; Stephen Brown, bass; Maya Cameron, keys/ vocals; Paco Higdon, guitar/vocals; Jeremy Otto, drums; Hayley Pulizzi, vocals; Jim Territo, keytar/vocals; Joe Territo, percussion/vocals; and Phil Treais, vocals.

“There is some really good music on this album,” said Joe Territo, co-writer. “We tried to express a wide range of ideas to compliment the different musical styles. I think a lot of people are to going to see parts of themselves in our songs.”
