Young West Bloomfield author plans a series based on the young girl who becomes a superhero and saves animals.

Most don’t parlay their fascination into published book, let alone a series of books.
Layah, of West Bloomfield, gets that distinction with “Cat Girl,” her whimsical story about the adventures of a young girl who becomes a superhero and saves animals.
