Lakes Area Chamber Requests Nominations for Community Heroes

Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Presents the First Annual Black & White Awards Ball

to Honor Our Community Heroes

The Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce is currently soliciting nominations from the community for individuals, organizations and businesses who have made exemplary contributions to the Lake Area community in the following categories: Business of the Year; LaFontaine Automotive Group Community Hero Award; Entrepreneur of the Year Award; Excellence in Healthcare Award; Diversity Pacesetter Award; First Responder Award; Outstanding Community Organization Award; Student of the Year Award; and Lifetime Achievement Award.

The recipients of these awards will be honored at the 1st Annual Black & White Awards Ball to be held on January 21, 2022, at Lyon Oaks Golf & Banquet Center in Wixom from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. The evening will include the awards presentations, strolling appetizers, a buffet dinner, a dessert bar, live entertainment, dancing and a photo booth. The attire for the ball is Black & White. The cost is $100 per ticket, and reservations are requested by January 10, 2022.
