1. West Bloomfield Friends Used Book Sale
- When:Â Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday, 12 p.m.-5 p.m.
- Where: West Bloomfield Public Library, 4600 Walnut Lake Road, West Bloomfield
- What: The Friends of the West Bloomfield Township Public Library sale starts with special Friday preview, 7 p.m.-9 p.m., just for Friends. You can become a member at the door. Sunday is $5 bag day.Â
2. Good Girl ComebackÂ
- When:Â Saturday, 9:30 a.m.
- Where:Â Our Lady of Refuge, 3750 Commerce Road, Orchard Lake Village
- What: This Christian-based conference is open to all teen girls and stresses self-confidence, virtue, self-respect and spiritual development. Additional sessions will be held July 17 and 27. Register at goodgirlcomeback.com.
3. ITC Walk West BloomfieldÂ
- When:Â Saturday, 8:30 a.m.
- Where:Â The Corners, east of Inkster on Walnut Lake Road
- What: This free, fun walk is open to anyone who enjoys getting out and enjoying the township's parks. A prize drawing is held at the end of the walk, and walkers will be entered for a chance to win a four day/three night stay for two at the historic Mackinac Island's Grand Hotel and participate in Michigan's famous Labor Day Bridge Walk.
