Oakland County Woman Charged In String Of Armed Robberies: Police
Officials did not report any injuries in the armed robberies.
WEST BLOOMFIELD, MI — A West Bloomfield Township woman is facing charges in connection with a string of armed robberies last week in Oakland County, according to police.
Molly-Kathryn O'Malley Malczynski, 36, was charged with seven counts of armed robbery, eight counts of using a firearm during a felony, a count of discharging a weapon inside a building and a count of carrying a concealed weapon.
She was placed in the Oakland County Jail with a bond set at $75,000.

If convicted, she faces up to life in prison for each of the armed robbery charges, up to two years for each count of using a firearm during a felony, up to 10 years for the discharging a weapon in a building charge and up to five years for carrying a concealed weapon.
The first armed robbery happened at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday at the Twin Beach Market on Green Lake Road in West Bloomfield Township, according to police.

A caller told officers the woman walked into the store with a pistol and robbed him of cash, according to police.
She then left the store before anyone could call 911, according to police.
Roughly 15 minutes later, police received 911 calls for an armed robbery at a business near the intersection of Orchard Lake Road and Pontiac Trail in Orchard Lake, according to police.
The woman fled the store before officers arrived at the scene, according to police.
A short time later, officers received another 911 call for an armed robbery at the CVS Pharmacy located near Maple and Farmington roads in West Bloomfield Township, according to police.
Witnesses told officers that the woman fired at least two gunshots during the robbery, according to police.
Officers then caught the armed woman in the CVS Pharmacy's parking lot and arrested her in connection with the string of armed robberies, according to police.
Investigators believe the woman acted alone and that there is no further danger to the public.
Officials did not report any injuries in the armed robberies.
