Pedestrian Hit By Car, Injured In Oakland County Crash: Police

WEST BLOOMFIELD, MI — A pedestrian was injured Monday afternoon after being hit by a car in Oakland County, according to police.

The crash happened at 3:45 p.m. in the area of Square Lake and Middlebelt Roads in West Bloomfield, according to police.

Officials took the pedestrian to a nearby hospital with severe life-threatening injuries, but expected to survive, according to police.

Officials did not identify the victim or what led to the crash.

Officials did not immediately say if the driver stayed at the scene.

Officials closed down the roadway for several hours, but it has reopened since.
