Pine Lake Cemetery Memorial Day Service Moves an Hour Earlier to 9 am

We recognize how sacrifice and service give the opportunity to respond with resilience to challenge as individuals and communities

The Pine Lake Cemetery Memorial Day Service is moving an hour earlier to 9:00 am on Monday, May 27, 2024, at 4351 Middlebelt Road, in West Bloomfield, Michigan 48323 for the first time in its 41-year history. Local officials, township leaders, clergy and members of area faith communities, the West Bloomfield Police Honor Guard, Girl Scouts, and renowned musicians will be taking part in this annual observance, which will be recognizing how the service and sacrifice of those who have given their lives has meant that we as individuals and as a nation can be respond with a resilient spirit in the face of challenges. State Representative Noah Arbit will be the keynote speaker, sharing remarks on resilience. Much effort has gone into preparing the grounds where the ceremony will take place, thanks to the Pine Lake Cemetery Association and its volunteers.
