UPDATED: Power Out for More Than 9,000 West Bloomfield Area DTE Customers
The power company has crews out working, but no restoration estimates.

More than 9,000 DTE customers in West Bloomfield, Keego Harbor, Orchard Lake and Sylvan Lake were without power Thursday night, after powerful storms and heavy rains swept through the area.Â
By Friday morning, DTE expected power to be restored in most areas late Friday night and at the latest, 11:30 p.m. Saturday.Â
The company estimates about 100,000 customers, 80,000 in Oakland County, were off-line after a line of storms dumped as much as five inches of rain in some communities.Â
According to WDIV-TV, flooding hit north Oakland County hard, with a number of streets under water in the Waterford area as the heaviest rains fell around rush hour.Â
The National Weather Service predicts more rain Thursday night and into the weekend, with temperatures dipping into the mid-70s.Â
