Prime Concepts Detroit Opens New Oakland County Restaurant

A new Italian cuisine that features dishes inspired by the island of Capri recently opened in Oakland County.

WEST BLOOMFIELD, MI — A popular Detroit restaurant group opened a new Italian cuisine in Oakland County.

Prime Concepts Detroit, known for Prime29 Steakhouse, Tribu Mediterranean and Hibachi Lounge, opened Aurora Italiana in West Bloomfield near the corner of Maple and Orchard Lake roads.

Aurora Italiana's menu features dishes inspired by the island of Capri, including tableside Caesar salad, tableside tiramisu, veal chop Milanese and whole roasted Dover sole.

Aurora Italiana's 8,500-square-foot building seats up to 350 guests and was completely renovated by a team led by Art Harrison Interiors, the Royal Oak-based design team behind all of Prime Concepts Detroit’s other restaurants.

The restaurant also features a private bar, lounge seating and private valet. There's also a patio, which is both covered and heated, and seats up to 70 guests and features a fireplace and TV. The patio can also be reserved for private events that can accommodate up to 100 people.

Stolion "Stoli" Liti, managing partner and director of operations at Prime Concepts Detroit, will oversee the restaurant’s operations.

"Whether you’re looking for a romantic evening or a family gathering, we promise to provide you with an unforgettable dining experience," Stolion said. "It is our mission to share the warmth and hospitality of Italian culture, one plate at a time."

The restaurant will be open Sunday noon - 10:00 p.m., Monday 4 to 10 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday 4 to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday 4 p.m. to midnight. The restaurant will be closed on Tuesday.
