West Bloomfield Patch Favorite Adds Lighter Menu, Skinnygirl Selection
Champps Americana announced new, ligher menu options and drink choices just in time for summer.
Champps Americana, a 2012 Reader's Choice favorite voted on by West Bloomfield Patch readers, just added another reason why so many customers enjoy their menu selections and restaurant.
The "more than just a sports bar and grill" recently announced that for a limited time, it would be adding an off-season training menu that is all about "fresh, new, lighter menu options," and featuring under 650 calorie selections and under 140-calorie cocktails and wine featuring Skinnygirl Cocktails.
Skinnygirl Cocktails, created in 2009 by Bethenny Frankel, is largely credited with "kick-starting the low-calorie drinks trend," according to the a press release from Champps Americana.

"We operate by a very basic premise: if our guests want it, they'll get it, but in a very Champps-style way," said Lindsay Costanza, marketing director for Champps Entertainment, Inc.
The West Bloomfield Champps location was voted best place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day as well as the best place to watch sports in town, in a 2012 Patch poll.

Location manager Bryan Richter said in a previous interview that a simple explanation for the franchise's 25 years of success: "It's an inviting place to come and socialize."
