The conference featured various role-plays and sales presentations, where students showcased their skills in real-world business scenarios. Among the award winners, 16 WBHS students earned the distinction of advancing to the Michigan DECA State Conference, set for March 14-16, 2025, in Detroit, Michigan. The State Conference will bring together over 5,000 students from across the state to compete for the opportunity to represent Michigan at the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Orlando, Florida, in April 2025.

In total, 51 WBHS students will compete at the State Conference, taking part in role-plays, sales projects, and in-depth written papers that analyze local businesses with 10-20 pages of research. These students will demonstrate their ability to solve real-world business challenges and present innovative solutions.
