What's Bouncing, Skipping, and Coming to West Bloomfield?

Children between the ages 4 months to 12 years are welcome at the soon-to-open Little Gym.

West Bloomfield-area children will soon have a place where they can bounce, tumble, skip and jump, all while developing their motor skills. The Little Gym, a motor skill development facility, has announced that it will soon be serving the local area with a location in West Bloomfield.

"The West Bloomfield area has been identified as a prime location for The Little Gym," said Juanita Ray, owner of the future The Little Gym of West Bloomfield. "We are confident that our programs and services will be a great fit for the youth of the community, and we are eager to introduce our unique approach to skill growth and development and learning to the area."

The Little Gym of West Bloomfield will be located at 4301 Orchard Lake Road in the Crosswinds plaza in West Bloomfield. The opening of the location is scheduled for Oct. 30, 2012.  Enroll your child for a season of classes before Oct. 30 and you will be automatically entered into a raffle giving you the chance to win prizes including an iPhone 5, half-off an Awesome Birthday Bash for your child, or four tickets to see the Gymnastics Tour of Champions at the Palace of Auburn Hills on Nov. 3. 

Offering a curriculum-based core program of gymnastics and other programs to promote coordination, balance, rhythm and flexibility, The Little Gym is based on a philosophy of allowing kids to experience success in a fun, caring and non-competitive way. In addition to the physical skills, children’s listening, social and cognitive capacities are all enhanced in the process, as students are encouraged to progress at their own pace.

Headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, The Little Gym features classes designed for children between the ages of four months and 12 years that are taught by trained and caring instructors who provide individual attention and positive feedback to reward every student’s efforts. Although gymnastics is at the base of The Little Gym’s curriculum, classes also incorporate sports, games, listening and cooperation.
