Oakland County Man Stabs Wife In The Back, Couple's Child Calls 911: Police

WHITE LAKE TOWNSHIP, MI — A man was arrested after stabbing his wife in the back inside an Oakland County home last weekend, according to police.
The incident happened last Saturday at a home in the 1700 block of Mead Lane in White Lake Township, according to police.
The couple's child called 911 and told officials his mom and dad were fighting, and that they needed help, according to police.

While officers were on their way to the home, the child called 911 again and said his dad had stabbed his mom, according to police.
When they arrived at the home, police said they found a 42-year-old man standing in the driveway. They identified him as Abdou Sall and arrested him in connection with the stabbing.

Sall was charged with assault with intent to murder and placed in the county jail without bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 23.
Inside the home, officers found the 40-year-old woman lying face down on the floor with a stab wound in her back, according to police.
She was taken to a nearby hospital where she was listed in stable condition, according to police.
