Trump Planning Oakland County Rally Just Ahead Of MI Primary

WATERFORD, MI — Republican front-runner and former President Donald Trump is planning a rally in Oakland County just ahead of Michigan's Presidential Primary, according to the former president's campaign.

Trump will hold a get-out-the-vote rally at the Elite Jet Center at Contact, which is located at 1675 Airport Road in Waterford, at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

The rally is open to the public, but there will be space restrictions. Doors for the event will open to the public at 4 p.m. General admission tickets are located here.

The rally would be the former president's first visit to Michigan in 2024 and first since he was at Drake Enterprises in Macomb County during the UAW strike last September.

Trump appears destine for a 2020 rematch with President Joe Biden in the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election, though former South Carolina governor and former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley is still in the Republican race.

Biden visited Michigan earlier this month and spoke at a UAW training hall in Warren, just after the union endorsed him for the 2024 Democratic presidential nomination.
