2nd Annual 'Casting With The Cops' Is June 30 In Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY, MN — The city of Apple Valley's second annual "Casting with the Cops" event will be June 30.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. at Cobblestone Lake with several time slots for kids to sign up, the city said. Each time slot is for 30 minutes and has availability for 20 kids, according to the city.

Kids will get to fish off the pier with local police officers and volunteers from MN Valley In-Fisherman’s Club, the city said. There will also be games, prize drawings and more, the city said.

The event is co-sponsored by the Apple Valley Police Department and MN Valley In-Fisherman’s Club, according to the city.
