Alcohol Suspected In Wrong-Way Crash That Killed Apple Valley Couple
The State Patrol says Seth John Nechville, 28, was impaired when he collided head-on with Peter and Patricia Olson.

RANDOLPH, MN — Alcohol was a factor in the driving of a Kenyon man involved in a wrong-way crash that killed two people from Apple Valley on Highway 56 Saturday morning, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Troopers said Seth John Nechville, 28, of Kenyon, was driving a 2016 Dodge Ram north in the southbound lanes just north of the Cannon River when he collided head-on with a 2019 GMC Terrain around 11 a.m.

The GMC’s driver, Peter Foxvong Olson, 68, of Apple Valley, and his passenger, Patricia Ann Olson, 49, of Apple Valley, both died at the scene.

Nechville was taken to Regions Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities said alcohol was involved in his driving.
Troopers said all three involved were wearing seat belts.
