Community Hosts Juneteenth Celebration in Apple Valley
The celebration will be Friday at the city's community center.
APPLE VALLEY, MN — There will be a Juneteenth celebration in Apple Valley on June 17 at Apple Valley Community Center from 4:30-8:30 p.m.
This year's theme for the celebration is "Unapologetically Black," according to the celebration's Facebook event.
There will also be Black owned food and retail vendors and an hour-long Juneteenth dance production, the event page said. The dance will be performed by Black dancers in the community, the page said.
