Applications are open for the Utility Commission, Planning Commission, and Environment & Sustainability Commission.

ROSEMOUNT, MN — Applications are now open to serve as a Rosemount city commissioner.
According to the city, applications are open for the Utility Commission, Planning Commission, and Environment & Sustainability Commission.
You can apply in one of three ways:

- Pick up a paper application at City Hall
- Download a commission application form and email the City Clerk
- Online Commission Application
The Utility Commission is an advisory board to city council that reviews infrastructure development, reviews operating budgets for water, sanitary sewers, and storm sewers, the city said. It also reviews a consultant's study on rates every 5 years and handles residents' concerns on water and sewer matters, according to the city.
The Planning Commission is an advisory board to city council that helps review plans and development in the city, Rosemount said.

The Environment & Sustainability Commission is an advisory to city council that reviews issues related to sustainability, environment stewardship and opportunities for advancement on those fronts in the city, Rosemount said.
